During his last year at school, Piran managed to get a position on the BMW mini apprenticeship scheme. His goal was to become a skilled toolmaker. His knowledge and skills have allowed him to progress further outside of work too. They have allowed him to progress into producing custom parts for cars and motorcycles. He hopes one day to build his own custom motorbike and car using the skills taught to him at MINI.
